Discovered this winery via my wife's co-worker. The tasting room / winery is about 2 miles from her office. We have actually driven right by this about 50 times without knowing it was a winery. Duh! The grapes for this are grown in Paso Robles.
I sampled this Cab as well as many of the others in their lineup. I think this is one of the better values - especially when I can buy this at Safeway for under $11.
The color is a very dark ruby. It has very nice jammy aromas of dark fruit (plums, cherry, blueberry) with a bit of vanilla. Very good up-front dark fruit flavor with a fair amount of oak and tight tannins. The mid-palette flavors are a bit thin though. The finish is slightly tart and lasts for a long while. This won't win any awards from Robert Parker, but overall I think it's a good Cab for the price.
