Too far gone?

Grabbed these cigars from a friend who had been keeping them in his freezer. I'm still relatively new to the game but this seems like a little too much damage to be salvageable. Maybe you guys can provide some insight bc I would really like to enjoy these since I've never had anything Cuban before

And some pics of something I'm also excited about. Just received a package from a friend that had these made for me by Cabana Cigars down in Miami. I've had one or two before and I am really looking forward to these. I'll also be giving away 10, two at a time to any interested brothers so you guys can let me know what you think of them.

Now to make the post even longer, the 5 brothers that will receive these cigars will post a pic and review of their favorite craft brew. Craft beer is one of my other favorite hobbies and I'd like to see what you guys are drinking. First 5 I will PM for addresses.

As they are, the wrappers look too thrashed to be salvageable. That's based on my limited experience though.
What about taking one of the wrappers and using it to "bandadge" up the one with the least damage. Not sure if that's acceptable, but it's something I would try!
Those other cigars look tasty, but since I no longer drink, I am unable to post a review of a craft brew, and therefore ineligible for a couple sticks. Really cool way to offer some sticks though!

Not sure if those cigars are salvageable, I guess it doesn't hurt to smoke one? Those other cigars look awesome, but I don't drink. Good luck brother!

Customs look nice. Cohibas are fake and pretty beat up.

Tonight I'm having the Karbach Hopadillo IPA.

The name comes from our official state small animal, the Armadillo.

The beer is a highly hopped IPA with a light golden color and a slight copper hue.

The nose is reminiscent of lemon, dry hops, and a slight sweetness.

The body is light, and almost Pilsner like, and really adds to the drink ability of this beer. The hips are pretty bitter with a few sweet/sour notes creeping in. Nothing off the wall for an IPA, but it is unique. I personally really like this beer and suggest a 6 pack ourchase to anyone that finds it!

The fact that this beer is made locally here in Houston really sweetens the deal for me. We have a couple of brewery's around now, but historically have not had many, so I like to support the guys making good stuff right around the corner!

Oh, and the bands are a little off on the Cohibas (I think) - squares don't look right to me. Also, I can't see a triple cap which should be evident. I'm no expert though, others can probably give more detailed clues.

The "C" in Cuba shouldn't intersect itself after the swirl.

Thanks for the review! I'm typically a dark beer man but my girlfriend is going to brewing school right now in San Diego so she has been forcing me drink more styles. World of beer was one of my favorite places in college so I've had my fair shares of some hoppy IPAs. I'll definitely try to get my hands on this one!

I'll Play....
Here is my current go to ... River Horse IPA brewed here in NJ
It's the perfect beer for me when I just want to sit back and relax and have a smoke by the fire pit.
It has a citrus and fruit aroma. The beer itself is medium bodied with moderate bitterness and a dry finish.
I find it to be well balanced and easy to drink. Highly recommend....YMMV

Thanks for the advice guys, just because I'm curious how can you tell they are fake?

Also, if you look at the squares above the name you will see the name cuts off the third row of white squares. There should be three full rows of white squares, not almost three.
That particular label is very common in Cuba. The cigars that have these labels seem to all be from the same factory and it must be huge since there are millions of these particular cigars around. In Cuba they go for about $50 - $60 per box. The box is quite nice, with the cedar divider and everything. I have tried these cigars a few times and they are well made and quite nice. Of course, they are made with Cuban tobacco.

Fake CC's that you buy outside of Cuba are a different story. They can be awful. Who knows what goes into them. It sure isn't Cuban tobbaco

Favorite craft beer (right now) Bells HopSlam. I'm a sucker for this beer, I love the hop forward flavors that are balanced by the honey. If this beer didn't have such a high gravity i could drink them all day long without hesitation. I would love it if this was a regular release althought the limited nature does force ne to enjoy each one. I found one in my buddies fridge the other day as mine are gone. That's getting cracked this weekend.

I'll give this a shot, first beer review. I drank this on Sunday. It's a coconut porter that I picked up in Alexandria, Virginia. I've yet to find these up here in NJ. I love porters and the coconut intrigued me. This beer has the chocolately coffee greatness of a porter with just the right sweetness from the coconut. To me it paired very nice with the cigar that I smoked. I would highly recommend to any porter fans.
