grove...la mesa...imperial beach...el cajon...coronado...chula
vista...

* until 315 pm pst

* at 226 pm pst...national weather service doppler radar indicated a
line of severe thunderstorms capable of producing a tornado between
escondido and imperial beach. The storms will be capable of
producing hail to near 1 inch in diameter and gusty winds to near 60
mph. The storms were moving northeast at about 30 mph.

This winter only seems crazy by comparison to the last decade or two. Back when I was a kid, I remember snow drifts in the FEET and snow storms with thunder and lightning. Rediculous snow-falls were common place back then.

Maybe now that Global Warming is over, things are going back to how they used to be, huh?

Wow, I work only a few miles from Huntington Harbor. We heard tornado warnings over the PA system here. Tomorrow I'm going to go to the pier to check out the storm. If you don't hear from me, I may be out to sea.

Went to subway at lunch and thought I wouldn't make it back. It was raining so hard that full blast on the wipers was not cutting it. Raining like a mo-fo!!!

i saw some pics of the huntington twister looks pretty nasty,there was a pile up of stalled cars behind my house because people in so cal don't know how to handle weather. so they drove through a 4 foot river of water in an intersection and all hydrolocked their engines... hehe

I heard our street turned into a river. My son stalled out his car and while he and my daughter were pushing it home, a kind soul sped by and splashed water into his car and over the top of my daughter's boots.
