First I would like to express my gratitude to all for the words of kindness and encouragement that I have received as I struggle with the fact that I am going to lose my little Jack Russell. It means the world to me. I would also like to share with you an example of the compassion and caring of our brotherhood. I have been blessed on many fronts since I joined here at the first of the year. I have smoked cigars I had never even heard of, met new friends, attended a herf, gifted and been gifted cigars, laughed at posts, said prayers for members and been prayed for. To say that the BOTL has added enrichment to my life would be a huge understatement. The quality and character of the people here is something that we all should recognize and be thankful for. This place is just different and I am glad that I am part of it.
Yesterday when I got home from the office I found two packages. One from Michigan and one from Ohio. Inside the packages were the following:

Now I don't know these brothers other than via reading their posts here but @EHV and @teamrandr Josh and Casey you have have touched me beyond my ability to express what I am feeling. From all of us here at Happily EverAfter your thoughtfulness and kindness mean so much to us. There is something awfully special here made so by the special people who visit it. We all see the bombs of cigars, read the words of kindness, revel in the exchanges of playful barbs, marvel at the support of Operations Esteli and many other aspects of BOTL. Beyond all that is the true concern of the brothers for brothers. This is rare in today's world. Knowing that it still exists should be reason enough to make us all feel thankful and blessed. Thank you for letting me be a part of it. And Casey, Barnie ate almost all of that chew bone.
