Trip to the DR

So I leave for the DR on Sunday, Jan. 20th and will be there for a week with a coworker. We were invited to tour the Davidoff factory and fields in Santiago and Santo Domingo during our stay and most of our time is filled. However we do have a day to do what we wish. The morning of our day alone will involve a round at Teeth of the Dog but we will have an entire afternoon to ourselves in Santo Domingo. Has anyone been that can recommend some "must-see" spots or eateries? This is my first trip to a cigar country and I plan on soaking up plenty of cigar fun but would still like to see some stuff outside of that bubble. Any suggestions from anyone who has been would be appreciated.

Wow...beautiful place there. Love the teeth of the dog course....and the guys in white jumpsuits...lol. There the main port in town near Cristopher Columbus actual house. There a restraunt, I can't remember the name but its built on the in side of a cave.. Insainley good food!!!

Ohh, yeah...I live here, so I am a "must-see" hahaha. Let me warn you: PLENTY of fake CC's. I will tell you where to buy them in Santo Domingo at a great price (official seller).

Talking about recommended places, there are many places to have a good meal on different budgets and different types. Just tell me what do you prefer and I'll even take ride you there. PM Sent anyways =D
