Anyone planning one soon? I have quite a few cigars I'd love to send.

Alternately....Does anyone have the "best" address and required shipping procedures if I send them on my own?

Thanks so much!

You could probably contact your closest base and find a brigade to coordinate with.

Or reach out to Nick Popaditch, "The Cigar Marine", and see about sending a bomb to his old unit perhaps. They are the tank group that famously helped take down the statue of Sadam wen storming into Iraq.

the "best" address can be found at http://anysoldier.com just search cigars and give you a list of who has requested cigars.

As for shipping procedures you're going to need customs forms, and no pork/no porn, no torch lighters/fuel. Easiest thing to do is get the support your troops large flat rate box from the postal service https://store.usps.com/store/browse/uspsProductDetailMultiSkuDropDown.jsp?categoryNavIds=catGetMailingShippingSupplies%3asubcatMSS_FlatRate&categoryNav=false&navAction=push&navCount=0&productId=P_MILI_FRB&categoryId=subcatMSS_FlatRateand you get 2bucks of the normal rate when sending to an APO/FPO

Sorry....I was unclear...

As much as I would love to send a cooler filled with smokes to the fine folks who selflessly protect our freedom on on a daily basis I, I cannot "host" a troop bomb, sorry. First off, I have zero space in my humi to store smokes while waiting to send off (hence the post in the first place!!), and secondly I just don't have much spare time these days to organize.

Thanks to those who have posted suggestions/tips...appreciated :)

You can always send them to Cigars for Warriors and they can handle the customs and shipping to the troops that requested cigars!
