What really is the history or relationship with these companies?

I believe that Tropical is Casa Fernandez.

Sorry, I'm asking because they were either the same company at some point or segments of the same company. I'm looking for specific details.

Raices Cubanes is actually a privately held factory. They were making cheaper bundled cigars with less than desirable tobacco before Tropical found them. Tropical now supplies them with quality tobacco as well as giving them the bulk of their production. Agonorsa is the name of a farm or farmer in Jalapa Valley that is either owned or cultivated by Tropical under contract. Finally Casa Fernandez is a brand created and owned by Tropical. I will try and get some more details tomorrow but this is the best of my understanding at the moment. Paul Palmer is the President of Tropical and handles these operations and the man who runs the factory Arsenio Ramos also works for Tropical.
