Trouble comes in three's

Ever have something happen to you, only to find out that it comes three times?

Friday - Wife finds out she is getting cut in salary (6 1/2%), lost 2 weeks vacation (all employees regardless of senority have 1 week), gets 2 weeks of unpaid leave, and it goes on.

Saturday - Got TurboTax to see what I would getting back this year! Damn...forgot to change my deduction when my daughter moved out, so now I owe Uncle Sam $1300.

Sunday - Went to basement to bring chairs down and my barefeet are wading through water. The hot water heater went and leaked all over floor. $568 for heater and $310 to install.

Can't it get any better?

Went to Lowe's, picked out a heater and had them install it. 12 year warranty. The guy came, lugged it down 2 flights of stairs, made all connections and hooked it up, cleaned up and then lugged the old one up two flights of stairs and took it away.

Rest of the week was uneventful. Went skiing in Poconos on Wednesday, freakin hot and skiing was great. Smoked a Gurkha on the slopes....ah.....

Friday, today, going to get a tat in Long Island, NY. Things are looking up!
