Had a PSD4 to celebrate my beloved Tide rocking the backs of Arky. Did anyone else celebrate this great college football weekend?

Had my first ELO3, straight off of the truck from New Havana. Whatever this mystery cigar is, it's delicious! :smokingbo

The EL03 is one of New Havana's house cigars. It is excellent to say the least. It is also limited per Dan's notice says that when they are gone, they are gone. Why would it be important to know what it is? If someone told me to try a cigar and it tasted fantastic why would I be upset that I could not identify the manufacturer? As long I enjoyed the cigar and had a few in my cooler for the future i am happy. Isnt that what this is all about; trying new things? If I told you I though it was an edmundo or a cohiba, would it make a difference when you smoked it you said "Ahhhhhh now that is a great cigar?" :headroll::headroll::headroll:

Excellent point Chuck, it really doesn't matter what the stick is. Although i do happen to know. IF you spend a little time and energy you can probably get a pretty good idea. That being said, just enjoy it for the fact that it is a great stick...you already know what it is, it is an ELO3

Chuck you're absolutely right. If it's a good new cigar then it's a treat and a pleasure to have a stash in the humi. I just hate to do blind tastings. I second guess myself to death and convince myself I'm tasting something I'm not. When I first started smoking cigars for serious, I used to spend time researching the product and learning all I could because I was trying to learn regions and different blends. It's just something I'm used to. As time went on I could read Dominican Sumatra or Ecuadorian Connecticut and BANG! I know where I'm starting with this. Equally, I like to see the directions the manufacturers are going with their blends and tastes of their products. I'm just snoopy that's all. :halfgrinw
