Nasty stuff that tule fog.

I remember driving up to Travis AFB on hwy 680 many years ago ... I'd come up on a bank of fog and the visibility would drop to just a few feet in seconds. Luckily during those days the traffic load on Sat. mornings was only a fraction of what it is now.

Damn, I remember driving in fog like that, we were driving about 5 miles an hour with the flashers on.

that's why i don't live in the central valley anymore! well, not really, but the fog is unbelievable! made the mistake of flipping up my helmet visor once,,, couldn't put it back down after that.... 0 feet visibility, literally pulling over, and walking up to the street signs to see where i was. not fun at all!!!
