Unbelievable Customer Service, Hospitality & Experience

So I'm in Chicago for about 36 hours. I have some free time today before a dinner appointment and decided to check out Casa De Montecristo.

Jeepers! This place is the finest and most complete cigar place that I have ever been to. I live in Orlando and frequent the 3 different Corona locations, so I've been to some nice shops.

David, apparently the brother in law to the founder/owner, greeted me at the door and spent 15 minutes or so with me touring the stores and different humidors. His customer service and hospitality is simply some of the finest that I have ever encountered....and my business is customer service! With just a small initial purchase, he set me up in the VIP lounge downstairs. The quality of this entire facility is 2nd to none. I am in virtual heaven at the moment as I enjoy a 2009 EPC First Run from their limited and introduction release humidor. Bin #17 to be exact.

Brothers & Sisters, if you ever find yourself near Chicago....make it a point to stop here. It's only about 25 mins from O'Hare. :cbig:

glad you had a good experience. A good handful of bros here, myself included, are members there. Love that place. Not gonna lie, I recently moved and its not convenient for me to go there at all anymore but I still keep my membership because of the hospitality Dave, Sam and Mike have shown me. Plus its the only place I can get JDog to meet me for a smoke. Not that I really like hanging out with JDog that much....I just feel bad for him.

You might want to try the Casa Pepin cigars (I don't remember the bin #). The lance is especially good.

Met one of the owners a couple weeks ago while in Miami for the My Father/Tatuaje 10th Anniv party...really cool guy. That place for sure is on my bucket list!!!

I am 15 minutes from Casa and I frequent there for their primo selection and awesome hospitality. Their other spot 8 to 8 is also a good spot. Doesn't have all the pizzazz but always a great experience. Highly recommend both spots. Mike and Sam are really stand up guys.

I am from Charlotte travel all over and I second that 100% SmokingNukie!! Casa is an unbelievable place for the cigar hound. They treat you like part of the family. The VIP lounge is mind blowing!
BTW, check out @ChiTweetup for a helluva event scheduled Sept. 20 & 21. Second day is at Casa...going to be a great event.
