This.I smoked one. Its a fine cigar. If you like UC, you'll enjoy this. For me, the Viva is still far and away the best vitola.
My biggest problem is the price. At the end of the day, you're paying $16 (that's how much it cost me in NJ) for an Undercrown. For that money, I can get lots of other smokes, and, honestly, for $22 (in NJ), I can smoke a FFP. $6 more for a superior cigar - I'll do that any day.
Cody, I just called and ordered 4. That was max unless I bought another de box. Shoot me your addy and once these come in I will forward. Just a small thanks for the kick ass pipeAnyone interested in selling a 5ver or doing a split?
They price them that way because people like me and some others will go out and overpay for the cigar. Don't know why, but we do. I bought 3 but won't buy anymore. They were good, but you might as well smoke the regular sizes and save the dough.I have a hard time understanding price on these. If they were priced closer to the rest of the under crown line, I'd give them a try. Since the are 50% more expensive, I'm having a hard time opening my wallet.
Little clarity- there are far fewer rollers skilled enough to roll the shape, thus the slightly higher cost, def not double. The corona viva is a different blend. And yeah I would pay more for a shorter fatter coke can as long as it looked cool . G1undercrown is undercrown, no matter the shape good medium priced cigar not paying more for the unique shape. would you pay more for a smaller fatter coke can? its still a coke?
