Thinking about a vacation for later this year in:
Kent Island, Maryland
Cape May, NJ
Williamsburg, VA
(or another mid-Atlantic state)

Has anyone been to these places? What should I check-out/avoid or should I be thinking about someplace else?

Living near Williamsburg I can tell you it is a great place to visit without being overly touristy. If you have family you will get to take advantage of the history of the area with Yorktown, Jamestown and Colonial Williamsburg being so close. There is also Busch Gardens and Water Country for the amusement parks. If you are a golfer, some of the best courses I have played in the area are there in Williamsburg too.

Like Marty said, it really depends on what you are looking for in a trip.

Kent Island... Can't say there's really much there, it's not very big... Never really thought of it as a vacation spot... There's some historical stuff I suppose and it's not far over the bay bridge so you're kind of in the middle of things and if you wanted to it's a short drive back over to get into Annapolis. If you're thinking like actual vacation then keep driving down 50 another hour and half and just go all the way to Ocean City.
