Vancouver places to smoke a cigar?

Howdy All:

I hope you are doing great.

I searched and did not see so am asking for some help.

Can someone point me to where I could go and enjoy a cigar in Vancouver?

I found what looks to be some great places to buy cigars, maybe a little pricey, but I did not come across any lounges.

Any help would be appreciated.

I don't think you will find any smoking lounges in Vancouver. I believe they have outlawed smoking in all indoor public places and work places. Smoking ban has been in effect for a couple of years now.

I've heard talk of some 'smoke-easys' in Van, BC, but you'll be hard pressed to find much info about them without a referral or invitation, I would guess.

Yep... good luck finding somewhere that allows smoking. If there is a place, it won't be advertised I'm sure. I was there in January and smoked a cigar walking down the sidewalk, but that was late at night when no one cared probably....

nope no longer allowed lounge there is jus wasted space as well as every other cigar lounge here

your pretty much stuck with outdoors minimum 6 feet from any public doors and 12 feet any where in downtown vancouver. i smoke in Queen Elizabeth Park or by the beaches in downtown if im gonna go outdoors. Sucks here now.

I smoked in the Casa when I was there. The lady working there is a little annoying, and the place is on the small side, but the area is great. Besides, the harbor is right there and you might as well smoke while looking at boats and all the beautiful asian women walking around there.

Pretty much Canada wide ban on smoking indoors at this point.

Any cigar clubs that are private organizations in BC that try to get around the ban legally?

not that i know off, however i have been to a golf club for a wedding and they allowed smoking on their patios. Not sure if it was a private club. but they had ashtrays everywhere, and definitely not 6 feet from open doors

Its by Miracle beach if you know where that is. That's where you'll find me during the summer months.

My great uncle was from BC, he used to fly in the royal Canadian air force. When he retired, he built a house in black creek. When he died, he gave the house to my father, and its now a family spot for us. Sometimes we come up for the Salmon, sometimes just to relax. I'll be up there right before Canada day with my girl.
