For the life of me, I still don't know what anyone means by this.and plenty of Cuban twang.
To me it is an underlying flavor that all CCs I've smoked seem to have. It is more of a tanginess that is hard for me to describe. For the life of me, I still don't know what anyone means by this.
x2 ... But to each their own eace:For the life of me, I still don't know what anyone means by this.
That's just it, I don't find that at all. A Monte taste totally different from a cohiba, which is different from partagas. I just think that the twang makes no sense to me. Bolivars are tangy but they are certainly different from all other cc's. To me if they are all different, how can they all have "that twang"???To me it is an underlying flavor that all CCs I've smoked seem to have. While I agree a Monte, Partagas and Cohiba all taste different there is an aftertaste, a smell, a hint that I pick up that seems to be specific to cigars from Cuba. Heck, a Partagas Presidente doesn't taste like a PSD4. Every Cuban I have smoked seems to have the same hint almost like they came from the same farm, accept for the Monte Open Regata. That stick had such a mild flavor I could barely pick up anything off of that one. That's just it, I don't find that at all.
