Viaje going under??

Heard Viaje was closing up shop, and no longer making stogies......anybody else hear anything about this? If I missed the boat on the thread about this please let me know. Got this from my local vendor, and he said he fond out a week ago. Cheers!

If i had to guess i would say this is a silly rumor. Although maybe they had purchased a lot of tobacco and to get rid of it before they go under they are releasing all these limited releases. Haha, i don't really believe that just stoking the fire a bit. heh heh.

Yea...that sounds like a jelous rumor. The Viaje blends are doing amazingly well and the popularity of Viaje has not even peeked. It is becomming a force to be reckoned with so I just couldn't see this happining.

Not just you, it took a lot of convincing to get me to try the Holiday Blend because the regular line left such a bad taste in my mouth (literally). Loved the Holiday btw.

I think the 50/50 is one of their best. Other than that all I've had is special relases.

No expert here, but it seems unlikely. Viaje sells out literally every release that comes around within an hour.

Plus Andre seems to have the marketing pretty well figured out.

I agree that the normal line is not as good as the releases, but it's not terrible.

I'm just passing along what I heard, and really inquiring as to if it is true or not. I have been to two vendors now in Texas though that are supposed to carry viaje, and both have been completely out of it. The one yesterday told me this info, and said he found this out from their distributor 1 week ago.
