Per Andre's Facebook, looks like another round of the Fall LE's rolled for 2 retailers; 1 gets Oro, 1 gets Platino. First is an Oro Corona Gorda for R. Field Wine Co. 100 boxes.

Very, very excited for these!!

Andre confirmed that the Platino Samurai CG is also coming back at Burn. Hope the info is useful to a few others!

Good deal, Viajes have been really growing on me. The bottem line is I have yet to ever have any type of construction problems.

I'll be on the lookout for these.

Thanks

what is the difference between these and the regulars?? vitola or what?
Yes, vitola. This is the 3rd year now that Andre is rolling a special LE vitola in the 2 regular production lines. It's up to the 2 retailers what vitola they want. The Samurai was out last year, and Platino rocked in the CG vitola!

Marvin, are you selling any to people outside of the event? Can we get on a pre-sale list?

If these aren't being sold outside of the event, would any brothers in Hawaii be willing to purchase for me? I'll make it worth your while :ccowboy:

I am starting a pre-sale list. Event attendees will have first shot at the cigars. The remainder will go to those on the list.

Contact me at marvinchang@foodland.com to get on the list. Initially I'd like to limit purchases to one box (25 cigars) per person. If there are any extras I'd be happy to fulfill requests for more than one box.

Aloha,
Marvin

Smoking one of these gems now! Down here having a pre-release smoke with Marvin and this is a great cigar. The size really demonstrates the wrapper effect on the blend. Smooth but deep flavors. Rich. Slight sweetness and dark chocolate. Med-full toward the full side. Great smoke! Hope all of you can get a box or at least split one with a brother!

There's the chocolate I was looking for! If these do half as much as the corona gorda did for the Platino, this is going to be a superb cigar, and it sounds like it certainly is. It's a shame corona gordas aren't more popular, so this could be a regular vitola in both lines. It really sucks that he hasn't released a corona gorda in the Exclusivo blend yet...only the ~500 he rolled and was handing out.
