Viaje Samurai 48x6

Yet another special limited release from Viaje. Not much is known about the blend but the size is 48x6.

These were made for a shop in MN named "BURN".

There are 60 boxes being produced. and only 20 left unspoken for.

$9.00 per stick / $225/Box

Reminiscent of the Tat Cuadrado.........funky new name, same blend, w/ an LE tag, and all it is is a different shape.

Yes, but those are just called Platino and Oro "Reservas"....and by my understanding there was more "aged" tobacco used, a little more ligero even perhaps? (going strictly from memory though).

At least then folks are aware it's a similar blend. Like NHC is doing w/ the Oro...it's advertised as that..so a-ok (even w/ the Fernando title).

As long as guys are aware going in that it's just a different size of the same Platino blend, that's fine. Haven't seen TG's advertising on it, so they could be doing the same thing w/ the Samurai...if so, I digress. But I won't buy em'....I'll just smoke the Platinos I already gots :smokingbo.

Funny I just spoke with James at Burn yesterday and there was no mention of these. He did keep saying to me I should let him know if I was interested in any other special releases. So it could just be me not taking a hint.

Either way both Burn and Tobacco Grove are fantastic to deal with.

I don't think a single person here would fault you for posting the thread, or the phrasing contained in it. I certainly didn't...

But it is good to know this is just a Platino blend as other brothers have confirmed.

That's but a small part (sharing info) of what makes this such a great place!!

Glad the blend is out...sadly, not a fan of the Platino or oro blends...

smoking one now on maybe 10 days rest and really enjoying the first third. this one has a large dent in it from shipping damage, but you'd never even know it was there smoking it. Definitely going to grab another fiver of these.
