I asked Andre about these and the following was his response:

"As far as SKULL AND BONES, all I can tell you is expect balanced strength. This is another project that has taken a great deal of time to put together due to the select leaf we are using for the wrapper. Im keeping the lid on this project, but it wont be much longer. You guys will be amongst the first to get it once it is released next month."

I believe that's the problem with alot of cigar makers today. They've lost touch with product and just care about the bottom dollar. A great cigar maker knows Quality and not Quantity. Let hope Viaja will not let us down.

this can go both ways.

there are some cigar makers that can release alot of different blends/special releases and still keep quality at a very high level. Pete Johnson would be one of them.

There are some that attempt it and are just failing miserably.. i won't name any in particular :shame:

sometimes I wish Padron would do a "spin-off" project or something like a box press x000 release... just to mix things up a little

Wouldn't you like to know?
I am not sure how this will be but I will say after the holiday blend and exclusivo I have a box of these and the double edged sword reserved. And a box of the platino reserva on the way. I figure when they are on a roll I don't want to miss a release. Once one dissapoints me I won't be in such a rush but for now I want them all

Being a small boutique company that Viaje is and trying to keep it fresh; I think small batches of high quality cigars is just fine. But it has to be of high quality.

It's when a small boutique company makes a small batch of high priced crappy cigars is what brings things down.

Knowing Andre like I do, and smoking Skull and Bones pre release, it's another winner.

Any word yet as to vitola for these? Being a limited run I assume one, maybe two sizes at most....but I am certainly curious.
