I do not hyave it plugged in, I am using a pound of 70% beads and a Hydra and can't get the temp below 74. What should I try to get it down. The beads are dry also.

to get the temp down, you plug it in...
I assume you mean you can't get bellow 74% RH...

Take the hydra out, as it lets humidity out even when off... and if it still wont go down after a few days, get some damp rid from the grocery store... it works very fast, so keep an eye on it.

1lb is good for 5 cubic feet, maybe it would be good to seel the hydra and just get some more beads.
