Vinotemp stopped working, any help appreciated.

The last week or so my Vinotemp has been making a high pitched hissing sound and today I came home to find it had stopped working. The front display is out and it doesn't seem to be running at all. When I unplug it and plug it back in it makes a strange beeping sound and the display flickers for a bit but never comes fully on.
Anyone ever experienced this before? I'm hoping it is an easy fix.

I've contacted their customer service and will post back with any info they provide. Very sad day for me. I was worried about reliability as the cooling function is much needed in the Florida heat. It was the reason I chose Vinotemp. I'd expect this from a lesser brand, but not vino

I'm not sure, I bought it used on craigslist about 6-8 months ago. It has worked perfectly up until the last week.
