Visiting Tampa

Me and the family are taking a trip to Tampa next weekend. We'll be there Mar. 23rd-25th. The main reason is for a plant show my dad wanted to attend. I actually lived there (Old Hyde Park) about 7 yrs ago, but wasn't into cigars then. Anyone have any suggestions as to cigar places I should check out? Thanx for any help! :gangfire: :robosmile

Ybor city. There are some cigar shops, and some small custom rolled shops. Also check out Tampa Sweetheart.

if you like Fuente cigars, Tampa Sweethearts will be a great choice. They have thier own house brand that are Fuente rolled, and as good as any Fuente that I have smoked.

Besides the places mentioned--

There is a fairly new place, Cigar Castle, on 56th Street near USF. They have a huge walk in humidor and this is a friendly place to have a cigar.

If you get into St. Pete, Central Cigars is a very nice place to sit down and have a smoke. Full bar and a large selection of cigars.

There is also the Ybor City State Museum, it has extensive exhibits and a film about the history of the cigar industry in Tampa. MUST SEE for anyone who loves cigars and history.
