Puffing on a La Aroma de Cuba E.E. in the belicoso size. For me, this is a cigar line where the vitola makes a large difference in the experience. If they didn't make this vitola I probably wouldn't buy the E.E..

Are there any cigar lines that you smoke from where a particular vitola makes a big enough difference for you where you probably wouldn't buy it if they didn't make that size?

Opus X

Anything with a larger ring gauge than the robusto does not do it for me.... with the exception of the Double Robusto which is fabulous!

Ditto with starz. love opus...but bigger ring and size tends to take away a bit. don't get me wrong still good...but just not the same. overall size too...like a Opus A...I look at them everytime I am in the shop...but not sure I would like it so never pull the trigger. I just think it would just continue to loose its excitement the longer it burned. just my .02 though...

I prefer the fatter Padrons (+50 for both 1000 series and Anniversaries) and probably wouldn't smoke the brand as much if it weren't for them.

If it weren't for the Angeles and Victorias I wouldn't buy any of the Tatuaje Havana VI line. The other vitolas don't do anything for me, similar with the Brown labels as well only really like the Noellas and Especiales.

Every cigar is affected by size...
Le Bijou is amazing in a Petit robusto, only good in other sizes, and pretty good in the Church.
Opus, I prefer larger sized ones...
I usually stick to the same size cigars, with few exceptions.
I smoke a lot of Rubustos, and the thinner Toros (50-52) not a fan of 54-60, but will smoke a 54 rg once in a while... Church is a good size on certain smokes, and depending on time I have as well (verite is very good in that size!! gives it time to build up very nicely!!)

I too prefer smaller ring gauges. The My Father line is good, but it's really good in the Lancero or Cedros. On the other hand, I prefer the Illusione MJ12 over any other size in regular line. Go figure.

For me the Ashton Cabinet is the best in the Belicoso line other then that I stay away and i think the airbender line in the lance. I have had others and it was just ok but the lance would keep me coming back.
