Just dropping in to say howdy. I was just introduced to cigars as a hobby by a Chief I work with and have joined up with the "Tali-banned Cigar Aficionado Club"... Oh yeah, I'm military and deployed at the moment.

I've ordered quite a few sampler packs and I'm eager to dive in and start trying them out. So far the maduros are the most visually appealing and smell the best, but I'll give'em all a go.

The Gurkah's I have smell amazing! I'm regretting ordering so many Acids, because now that I've had a real cigar I've kinda lost interest in them and just want the room back in my humidor for more qualified sticks.

Well, see you round the message boards!

Welcome & thank you for your service!

The Acids will stink up your other cigars - put them in a separate container or zip-lock unless you want all of your sticks smelling like herbal-botanical-sweet-fruit-syrup... Blah... Don't get me wrong - Drew makes excellent cigars & smoke what you love! But if you keep them together with non-infused sticks, they'll all taste the same.

Have fun with the new hobbie - it's a slipperly slope to obsession if you hang out here for a little while...

Thank you all for your kind welcome! Your gratitude towards soldiers like myself is really appreciated and serves as positive reinforcement for what we are doing. Soundwave13, your advice is awesome and I wish I had received it sooner. I have removed the Acids from my humidor so hopefully the "scent" of them will dissipate over time and the short time I had them in my humidor wont ruin the other sticks. Live and learn I guess. I do have to admit though that Acids are responsible for my initial interest in cigars, they acted as the "gateway" smoke and opened my eyes to the cigar world. So for that I guess, I respect Drew Estates and credit them with starting my new found hobby. But now that I'm in the door, I'm ready to kick off the Acid training wheels and go with the natural flavors. Hoping to learn lots here on BoTL, and I'm sure I will. It appears I'm sharing the message boards with some very knowledgeable people.
