Not exactly, but I did go home broke and tired - LOL!! I brought $450 and my buddy brought about $1200, and we planned on playing hold em tournaments and splitting the winnings. Well, the first tournament was awesome at $120 buy-in, I placed first and my buddy placed second out of 10 people. We won about $600 plus our buy in fees minus $20 each to the house, and then the allure of gambling kicked in. It went downhill from there. I got home around 4:30AM, tired as hell, with $15 in my pocket. Oh well, you win some, you lose some.

It was really fun, and it is only about 20 minutes from my house. The best part is watching all the shady characters. This one dude knocked me out of two tournaments with somewhat bad beats, but oh well, when you lay down a set of queens on the flop with a king kicker, it is just about as good a time as any to go all in when you are short stacked.

Somebody hit a royal flush (spades) the night I was there, and at that time the jackpot was at $10G.

Yeah, it was the Hard Rock, and you are right those slots are fake (bingo slots). I don't care for games of luck/chance like craps, roulette, etc. I hear that they are going to start blackjack soon, but I will stick with poker.
