So I headed off to work with both my windows rolled down enjoying the sun and such. I brought with me a bundle of JR Special Coronas (6) I purchased for a friend when I bought off line two days ago, and one of my cigars, and my lunch for the day. I arrive at work, with a big smile eager to give my buddy Kirby; who previously only smoked/ smokes Gas station gars, a special gift. I grab my lunch making sure to snag Kirby's first "Real" ciagrs, roll the windows up, lock the manual "push locks", pull the ebrake get out and shut the door. Then it donned on me, I Just left my keys in the ignition and locked myself out.
I call around for a lock smith but decided I would try and tackle barring my way into the vehicle. A couple hours later, or should I say coat hangers and fishing line, I finally tripped the door open and saved about a hundred bucks.
So I went to light up my cigar in victory, and its plugged! Tighter than a carbon fiber weave; epic fail.
At the end of my work day Kirby gives me one of his JR Special Coronas. Mighty nice of him, although I didn't think it would be all that great, it was a solid smooth and mild smoke. Usually I don't smoke in my car nor do I allow my girlfriend to smoke cigarettes in my car; actually never. However since I had some rough spots, what the hell. Right? Driving a manual in semi traffic and not dropping ash do not go hand in hand, at this point I don't care though.
Now to the cigar. I rolled through a Taco-Hell and picked up a pepsi to par with my new treat. It was a little peppery and chalky but I very much enjoyed it. I guess I've been playing the roll of the snob. Not to proud, but hey it happens from time to time. At 9 bucks for six of thoughs guys thats a budget I need to be on. I'm open to try more JR cigars now, and will probably pick some others up in a week or two.
So at the great low of the day, something great came out of it.:ccool:
