First I want to let everyone know that I got all the packages out in the mail today. How I did it I'll never know.
So I got up this a.m. to print some labels and get all the boxes ready. Sht the printers broke. Well the old fashion way it is. Write all the labels, get all the boxes ready. Well then the guys from Bstbuy call about the new washer and dryer to be delivered. Yeah we will be there around 10:30. Great i'll let you guys in, put in the new ones, then I'll level the units and connect the fittings and be on my way to USPS. Well then the shit hit the fan.
Ya see we could not just buy top loaders, we had to get front loaders. Did I mention I live in a new construction home? Suffisive to say that the time line I had today was not going to happen. After getting the washer leveled, you have to run a test load for stability. Well everything hooked up and yeah my floor was rocking like the Ocean. O.K. Ill just go online and see what the deal is. Maybe i'm missing something
Google "front loading washer problems" =1,854,896 hits!
Thats funny the laddy at Bestbuy told me these are the quietest and most vibration free washers out there.
Oh thats why the owners manual states concrete 1st floor recommended!
Well i found a solution on Google that stated buying a stable mat( picture a horse barn and a 100lb rubber mat in the stable) and some 3/4 MDF would fix the problem. Went out to Farm Fleet, then to USPS to dropoff the packages. Came back and put down the mat after cutting it to my specs.
Yeah, it still doesn't work that great because the jack ass that suggested this remedy on Google stated to put the MDF down first then the Very hard heavy stable mat. I think it needs to be the other way around so ill try it again on Sat after work.
8hrs of running around cutting MDF and a 3/4" thick rubber mat and leveling and re leveling a washing machine that quite frankly should level its damn self.
MAN I NEED A SMOKE BAD!
Thanks for listening :cursing::cursing::cursing::cursing::cursing::cursing::cursing::cursing::cursing::cursing::cursing::cursing::cursing::cursing::cursing:
