I have just caught little pieces of this story, and I finally have it all.
This woman goes on Britains version of american idol. she gets laughed at and doubted because of her age and looks. then she goes on to belt out an amazing performance. what an awesome thing to see. yes, i am getting soft in my old age.

Been hearing all week about this woman. Finally succumbed to the pressure to watch her performance. Glad that I did. What an incredible voice.

And well over 15 million views on that one link alone. Probably somewhere in excess of 25 million views between the various versions of her on Youtube. Incredible!
