I didn't see a recent thread on this so I thought I'd post one.

What cigar app do you use?

I've been using Aficionado by infero.ch from the Play store. It has some great features to keep inventory of your cigars, notes about each cigar, you can select favorites, and there's a tasting flavor wheel you can record for each smoke (one wheel per stick on the free version and one wheel per third on the paid version). Their current database has 432 brands and 10,700 cigars to add to your humidors, you can log in multiple humidors. The app is well maintained and every time I've requested a cigar that wasn't in the database they add it quickly, usually in 24 to 48 hours from my experience. There's also a personal rating (1 to 10), a strength rating, and a burn timer for each smoke.

Obviously I like this app, I don't recall what all features you don't get in the free version but the premium is worth it to me.

Anybody else have a good app they like?

I recently downloaded it but like others have said, it seamed like too much work for a noob like me. I haven't really gone back to it, I was looking for something more along the lines of finding a cigar shop or lounge near me when I'm on the road. So far the only thing I found is Cigar Dojo, it's more like instagram and facebook in one. Mainly posting pictures of your smoke and you can locate and check in at shops or lounges, I've only done it for about a week now.

Try the app Where to Smoke. It's put out by Cigar Aficionado and works well finding cigar shops while traveling.

^^^^^^THIS!!!! It's current and I use it also. So far used it in PA, CT, FL, NJ and it's led me to some nice B&M's. Plus I think you can update with some B&M's you've been at or live nearby locally too if they're not already on the app.

I used to use Cigar Geek. I liked it in the beginning because it gave me a nice structure to keep my notes and inventory while I was still working out what I liked and didn't like.

I use Tapatalk. If I am to write something in my phone about cigars, it's on BOTL. I used social humidor in the past, but maintaining inventory was not fun. I use my wino now for inventory purpose. And take notes on paper.
