What cigar are you smoking for Derby Day?

I'm not much into horse racing, but I always feel compelled to enjoy a mint julep and a cigar on derby day. I've been fighting a cold all week, so I figure it's a good excuse to smoke a stogie anyways. I'll probably go with a RP Royale!

Tried a mint julep at Churchill Downs on Derby Day in 2000. First and last I'll ever have of those.

Thinking about an Edmundo Dantes Conder 54 for the Blues-Stars game, that should last me right into the Derby.

Got a full glass of the celebratory drink and a upmann Connie1 from may 11. Today is five years married. No special plans.

I envy all of you! It's like 40 degrees out here with off/on golf ball sized hail and high winds... I guess I could go to the lounge, but I'm getting tired of going there solo.

You boys enjoy those cigars today!!

The mint julep is like a southern variation of a cross between a mojito and a caipirinha, so it's all good to me, but maybe that's just because they're more of a South Florida thing...

Maybe they just make crappy mint juleps at Churchill Downs? I will give one a try elsewhere just to be sure.
