What happened to some of the former site sponsors? I'm thinking about two in particular(this is posted in the habanos forum so that should indicate which two I'm talking about). It seems like not too long ago they both were listed under the site sponsors section but now neither of them are there. Was there a forum policy change about allowing those types of operations to be sponsors or did the stores just decide not to renew? I know sponsors change over time but it seems like the only two sponsors from that category both disappeared from the list rather recently.

Usually vendors have to pay dues or offer trade goods for the benefit of the site. My guess is new year and the goods/money was not offered so they were dropped from the vendor list.
Well one reason may be that one of these said sponsors are no longer doing very good business. I ordered from a former sponsor over five weeks ago and have received none of the items they said they shipped out. Furthermore, I was charged for an item they did not have in stock and they themselves say did not go out. I have been constatly emailing them but only receive frustration in return. It feels like one of those tent scams where you go back to the business to complain and find an empty building! I only used them because of the fact they sponsored this forum. Sorry to use this thread as my personal bitching page but poor service and communication may have something to do with the fact that they are no longer affiliated or sponsor this forum.
Agreed^ I presume it was some sort of contractual thing.

It is my opinion, and understanding that experiences like this over the last few months are a part of why at least one of them is no longer a sponsor
Dealing with bad vendors makes you appreciate the good ones like Cheaphumidor who are honor their agreements even when it means losing money. Thanks to the guidance of you brothers I have found a number of reliable sources for CCs. Thanks!
