Ok, only 2 to 3 months in to this hobby. Now that I've gotten beyond the initial fairly cheap sticks I bought and through the kindness of those here and jumping on a sale or 2 - had some far better cigars here's what I've settled on for possible box purchases - if I can afford them, lol.

Padron 1964 Anniversary series.
Well, probably any Padron actually, but this was my favorite.

Montecristo White.

Other sticks I've smoked I liked (other montecristo, strads etc...) and would buy in small packs or singles but right now these would warrant a box for me.

Smoke what you like, dont listen to other people's opinions including mine :)
That being said, the 64s are the way to go with the choices you have listed, those Montecristos are crap. If you think they are good dont ever try the CCs, they are like night and day!
For a good stick along the flavor lines that you seem to prefer, check out the Padron x000 series for a more affordable smoke.

The Padron 64 Exclusivo Maduro is an excellent stick, and my favorite of the regular Anni64 and 26 line.......and in general I prefer all 64's to the 26's.

Although, probably can't go wrong with any of the 64's...just depends on the vitola you like.

Nope, just started. Never thought I'd smoke anything as my father died a slow death from smoking Cigarettes at age 62.

Never going to touch a cigarette, but cigars, I love. :chat:

Padron Delicias Maduro's are fantastic and very budget friendly. I don't buy boxes often, just got to do your research on what people tend to like and then hunt deals for them.

20-25 of one cigar can be a bit dulling though. One killer sampler out there right now is this.

http://www.cigarsinternational.com/prodDisp.asp?item=SP-JXASST20&cat=19&page=

3 - Don Pepin Garcia Blue Generoso (6" x 50)
3 - La Aroma de Cuba Edicion Especial No. 5 (5.5" x 52)
3 - Don Pepin Garcia Cuban Classic 1979 (5" x 50)
3 - Tatuaje Havana VI Nobles (5" x 50)
3 - San Cristobal Clasico (5" x 50)

for $40.00. I jumped on that when I saw it. All are great cigars.

Given what you mentioned one you may want to try is the Perdomo2 maduro. It's Medium in body with lots of flavor. Well priced too.

What 25 said and I'll add this. Padron 4ks or Padron 64 Maduro Principes are like crack. Ashton Vsgs dont even try em or youll be hooked as well. If I were you and I was doing it all over again (now instead of 2 years ago) I would be all over most the sales on Botl here. Most guys take a loss on sales(not auctions) because everyone is going mostly after htfs. Great way to by alot of great sticks at really good prices.

I can only think of three or four cigars that I'd actually want a full box of... (Then again, I still have a lot of tasting to do... I have yet to even smoke a Padron, as much as I'd like to)

I'd say I'd take a box of Oliva Serie "G", La Perla Habana Morado, 5 Vegas Classic (Torpedoes), 5 Vegas Gold Maduro, and 5 Vegas Series A.. Otherwise, I'll stick to singles or 5'ers. The Serie "G" I'd take a few boxes of, they're de-lish.

And then Nub Cameroon... And Nub Habano... And Cain Nub... And..

Ah hell, gimme a box of them all ;)

Now see, I'll come across deals like that and NEVER be able to buy a box, lol.
If your fixed on a box check cigarauctioneer or cigarbid. You get great savings there. I typically don't use them unless its something with a high value. It's usually cheaper to use their main sites and a free shipping link on something like a 5er.

I got a box of Alec Bradley Sun Grown Robusto's on CigarAuctioneer for $55.00. They are a Famous exclusive so there is nowhere else to get them, and they sell them for $95.00. So I got a hell of a deal. Nice cigar as well.
