Hello everyone! Greetings from (mostly) sunny Northern California! I've been a cigar smoker since early 2010, off and on. I only got serious about finding great smokes and learning more about this here hobby in the last year or so. It has always felt to me as though the more I learn, the more I realize just how little I know. I haven't had the benefit of a really awesome B&M in convenient driving distance, so that I could talk to and learn from veteran cigar enthusiasts. I mean, don't get me wrong, there are cigar shops in my area. However, its the kind of thing where the clerk tries asks me what I like and then looks at me like I'm crazy when I reply. So, since I've been lurking these forums for a while now, I thought I'd actually finally step out of hiding and contribute a bit. See you around the forums!

I'm farther up in the Redwood City area. I had gone to the one closest to me, and when I walked into the humidor the clerk was like "So is there anything you're looking for in particular?" and I was all "Do you have any Camachos? I have a craving." And dude just stares at me for a minute. "I've never... I haven't heard of them."

So I grabbed a Cohiba and bounced out. It turned me off a bit, because the main reason that I would even go to a B&M was to chillax and talk to other dudes who know and love cigars. Admittedly, I probably shouldn't have given up so easily. There's another shop not too far from that one I'd like to try soon. I appreciate the offer, though! If I'm ever in Sactown I'll shoot you a message.

:welcome: from Minnesota :waving:

I'm right there with you. The nearest B&M to me with anything decent is at least 100 miles away. The same goes for the nearest smoking lounge. thankfully I am able to buy what I need online or trade with other brothers here to get the good stuff!!
