I heard many good things about the RyJ Cazadores...and Im looking to pick up a box, however looking at the vendor's pricing, I could get 3 boxes (25 count) of the RyJ Belvederes $20 cheaper than 1 box of the Cazadores...Im also debating on 2 x25 of the Party Aristocrats or 2x15 of the monte #4...


Basically, Im trying to upgrade my CC pimp status, but Im not looking to spend more than $200...this particular vendor has many sales this month so Im trying to maximize my intake...WWYD?

I would dodge the belvedere's I have never had great luck with them mostly construction issues with them and not my thing. If you are looking for quantity look toward Tres petite coronas. My favorite are the RASCC, SCDLH El Pricipe, Bolivar Juniors,and party Shorts. I have seen a few times before when you could get 2 boxes of those for under $200. I would also look into a cabinet as some times there are good price points on those. The Cazadores are a nice full smoke but not the only one.

Found the website. Personally I would go for the Petite Punch over the belvedere's. Only 2 boxes instead of 3 but a much better smoke.

Other thing I was thinking was wasn't there a post about not buying boxes until you have tried them. Just as true in CC's as anything else. A friend I went to Havana with brought back PSD#5 and Cuaba pyramide only to find out neither fit his preference. The Cuaba was too light and the PSD was too short. Find a way to sample then buy what you like.

There are several reasons why the cazadores are so much more than the belvederes. Not only quality, but the size also. The cazadores are GREAT, provided they have been aged a few years imo. Of the ones you listed, the Monte 4 is a classic and you must have some. There is a reason why it is one of the best selling CC's in the world, it's effin great!

I had a Bolivar Royal Corona when I was in Moro Country a couple weeks ago...sublime smoke. Thoroughly enjoyed it!

What Gibble and Kevin said. I really enjoy the cazadores and would rather smoke fewer of them than more of the belvederes. There is a reason why they are less than 1/3 and it isn't all dependant upon size.
The smaller sizes are some of the best buys on the planet. You might try a few fivers of some of the suggestions. If not from a vendor then try a shout out here on the board.

Don't bother with the Cazadores unless you like strong cigars. If you like them strong, they are well worth the price.

No...I havent...I think Im gonna take you guy's advice and stick to what I know and try one before buying a box...Ive had the Monte #4s before and think they are great...so maybe I'll go for those now and wait till I can try some other ones..I just became like a fat kid in a candy store with a little money to spend...and my eyes were eating more than my mouth could chew...or something like that!!!
