I want to get a box of something that will be good right now. I plan to spend around $200, give or take. Any suggestions. The only Habanos I've tried so far were the RyJ short churchhills, and I liked them very much but wouldn't be opposed to something a little stronger.

I've heard that recent Bolivar RCs have been good. Partagas Serie D#4 and Shorts are generally consistent performers.

I've heard the recent production Monte 2's are fabulous. A little more than you are looking to spend however from what I understand however.

I have been told that the RASS take awhile to come around, a few years to be ready to smoke. That's just what I've heard.
:widemouth

I usually dont smoke anything unless it has two years on it.

But the 06 Rass I had gifted to me was gooda !!

You may also want to try

Trinidad Reyes or Por Larranga PCs
Those are both EXCELLENT cigars and would normally make my recommended list as well, but he did ask for "strong" cigars...and neither of those are considered particularly strong.

For that matter, the RASS isn't considered particularly strong, either.

Cuaba Salomones is a good bet for a full bodied smoke. I recently purchased a box, skeptical since I have not tried any Cuabas prior. Also, for the price, this variety sports a generous size.

Oh.

Well shoot, I guess I read that to mean he DID want something stronger, not that he wouldn't mind if the suggestion was stronger.

Okay, my bad...carry on! :rolf:
