Since CA has a countdown to the years top 25 running on the website I thought I would try a couple of loose cigars that made good ratings. I tried one more (last) Casa Magna robusto and a RP Decade Toro. I found that the Casa was great for operating the skid steer. It was a perfect pairing with Diesel fumes and aged dried horse manure. The decade I literally threw in the trash after 1/2 (I'm pretty cheap so the Gar had to be horrible for me to do this). So my observation is that the editors of CA must be smoking a different (better) blend than what is available to me now.

I must be the oddball because I have always enjoyed the Decade. One of the first smokes I had that made me think whoa. It's not something I want often but when I do I really like them.

I have had the Casa Magna I did enjoy it but it did not blow me away. I have not had the Decade so i can not comment. But most of Rocky's stuff is just Stuff.

Had one Casa Magna a few months ago. It was better than I thought but, to beat a dead horse yet again, wasn't "cigar of the year" caliber. I'd rather pay the extra $25 and smoke the Padrón 80th any day. Or better yet I'll just pick up a 45th. Haven't had a Decade yet.

I never smoked a casa but I just enjoyed a Decade 4 hours ago, what else are you suppose to do at 0500, and thought it was pretty good. As far as RP cigars go it seemed pretty flavorful. An no I hadn't been drinking.

I've had 2 Casa Magna torps. The first was OK, but I was pretty disappointed. The 2nd was great (after resting a few months) but still not cigar of the year.

The 2 Decades I've had were a toro & a lonsdale. The toro was pretty good, but I didn't care for the lonsdale at all.
