What would you get with box code 2010 and 2011?

Hello, i am going to Cuba in 2 weeks. Going with like alot of people. What would you get with box code

a) 2010?
b) 2011?


P.S: I usually stick to the stuff that i know like MC#2 and Siglo VI. Any other suggestions?

I would recommend VR's with a date code of '11. Have had Famosos and now have a box of Unicos that are fantastic! Also Hoyo EE's from '10 are really good and spicey in my opinion.
There are certainly cigars that need age; like my Sig VI's that are not ready yet, and they are early '11. I have found anything with a nice dark wrapper seems to be smoking well to me.
Of course Monte 2's are pretty good, but would recommend '11's if you plan on aging not smoking.
Good luck man. Best thing is just try as much as you can. RASS are great fresh too.

If you are going to Cuba why worry about recent date codes? Look for 03 06 and 08. Unless you are looking for stuff to age?

Hello, i have tons of stuff from 08 and 09 ranging from PSD#4, MC4, PSP#2, RASS, Mag46, Trini Reyes, CoRo and Siglo VI and some older stuff 05 and 06 is my lovely HdM PR.

Well i am looking at stuff that can be smoked within 1 year. I am sure it will be hard to find stuff from earlier 2009 so i wanted to know if any of the stuff from 2010 and 2011 are good.

I also sampled a Monte 4 from a 2010 box (I know, I know) and it was also pretty damn good.

Pse's have been very good so far and haven't tasted as young as I was expecting. I have also been really enjoying the half corona's as well and they are dirt cheap at around 62 cuc's a box. Other great deals in Cuba would be the new RA EL and the upmann royal corona. All of those are cheaper then I have seen anywhere on the international market.

Read last months Aficionado. Prices there are going to surpise you,and you should look around for older sticks,especially some of the discontinued ones.

Most stores will have singles,try some different ones,and decide which ones you prefer before buying a few..............do not buy anything off the street..........
