Whatever happened to the Pepin Firecracker? I enjoyed that little cigar quite a bit... These days I'm stuck with skinny little mini-cigars for a really quick smoke, and most of those are lacking in the flavor department.

(Perhaps y'all can post your own ponderings and musings about cigars and related things that just seemed to vanished quietly into obscurity. If there's already a thread like this one, then slap me hard and tell me to RTFM!)

You have been gone for a while but I think you were around when the Tatuaje PCRs came out. Those have been my go to for short smokes, much better than the Firecracker IMO.

I do enjoy the PCR's as well as the Illusione 68 (and Short Story) for short smokes, but none of these are truly "short" like the 2.5" Firecracker was. (I think it was 2.5" anyway...)

What ever happened to The Lancero Craze? Three years ago there were around fifty Lancero's available, but they've been slowly disappearing as time goes by. I enjoy this size quite a bit and when looking to re-stock some of my stand-by cigars I find they're not being made any more. Robusto is my standard size smoke, but the lancero comes right after that. Going to go on a silent quest to buy up whatever is left from the on-line shops in the next few months.

I'm liking this thread because i have been wanting to find a good short smoke cigar that doesn't break the bank for a box, but still has great flavor.

Parta Shorts???
In a day or two I will compile the recommendations for Short Cigars and post them here... Or you can do it if ya like... Being an ancient old fart I tend to forget things that aren't immediately under my wart-covered nose!
