Curious as to what you guys are smoking that are currently performing great for you....as well as those that need the all too familiar "more time in the humi" to either come around, or perhaps even those you don't have any hope for.

Thought this thread would be a good way for others to see what it might be time to crack into a box/cab of, and what may be best to keep hidden a while longer.......the caveat to that of course being I know taste is subjective, and some might prefer certain smokes fresh as opposed to aged... but that's great info to share here as well.

Boxcodes are great if you have em', but even the years would suffice.

Smoking great for me now:

Cohiba Robusto - 2008
H Upmann Mag 46 Cab - 2008
H Upmann #2 - 2009
PSD4 - 2010
Trinidad Robusto T - 2009/2010

Need more time (but still very hopeful):

Partagas 898V - late 09
Vegas Robainia Unicos - 2008
PSP2 - 2008
RASS Cab - 2011 (almost a given due to their youth)

Fortunately nothing that i've given up on yet, but really hoping the draw on the 898Vs improve, otherwise I might have a contendor here. Draw is not something nap time can fix if the cigars are overfilled....but the sample size has still been small on them, so I definitely haven't lost hope yet.

When I grab from one of these cabs, I know it's going to be good, but I also expect each to improve over the next several years at least:

HU Mag 46 2008 (gosh I love these!)
BPC 2009
BCE 2007
Party Short early 2010
HdM Des Deux 2003 (awesome)
HdM Du Rio 2003 (25ct)

The following boxes are right on the boarder, could be good could "need more time," so I smoke them rarely (but I feel they WILL be good sometime soon):

RASS 2010
BRC 2009
BRC 2010
HU #2 2010
P898v 2009

Then there is some stuff that I'm just not sure about, mostly because I'm not experienced enough with the marca to judge how much time is needed.

1998 Cohiba Lanceros are smoking great :)
Recent Cohiba lanceros have been trouble free. In fact most marcas are doing well across the board. These past few years will undoubtedly be remembered as select vintage. Most exemplary being perhaps, the recent Partagas Lusitania.

Maybe that's why there are so many regionals/LEs in the past couple years?

'94 Partagas SdC 1 show phenomenal complexity.
01-03 SLR Regios / DC are superb.
'96 Cohiba robusto are marvelous.
ALL recent Trini's are RIDICULOUS. buy them all. :gangfire:
'03 Quai d'Orsay Corona are very complex, ginseng, white tea, bit of ginger!
How are the 09 ERdM CS doing? I really don't want to crack the box to find out.

I agree with the Boli Gold Medals 08 being good at the moment.
Some others I'm enjoying right now:
10 Petit Edmundo
11 PSD4
10 Monte #2

I am quite new to the game though and don't have much aged stock so I'm sure things are only going to get better :).
