What's the deal with PA?

I could probably research this on my own, but what the heck.

What's the deal on Pennsylvania? I've noticed in several catalogs I've got recently when it talks about small cigars or cigarillos... "cannot be sold in Pennsylvania." I've always heard PA is a big tobacco state in that several of the biggest dealers are there, but why can't they sell short smokes?

packs of cigarillos must be stamped with a pa cigarette tax stamp unlike almost all other states, so why bow to one state and stamp the products for there?

You could probably get them in-store. I didn't realize until today when I was reading one of the cigar magazines the it looks like PA doesn't add any additional taxes onto cigars. I guess that's why most of the e-tailors are there.

Which small cigars are you talking about? I work at a B&M in PA and we have plenty of small cigars. At first I thought this was going to be about how we didn't have a tobacco tax.

ok ie I can't sell Acid C-Notes in PA because of this stupid law

Why can't you sell Cnotes? Are you talking about Cnotes in a tin? Is this a new law because the place I work has them and we have reordered at least twice this year. After they taxed little cigars differently the HDM Excalibur tins went up considerably. The cigarillos are now $16.50 a tin and pre-SCHIP they were like $10 or so. The Cnotes used to be like $3 a pack and now they're $6-7 (don't remember exactly). For clarification we buy the full size wooden boxes of Cnotes that come in plastic bag of 5 or so cigarillos.

The only thing I can think to ask is if you buy directly from Drew Estate or from a distributor? I'm just confused by this. If they are illegal for sale I'd like to let the owners know so they can't get busted.
