So first day back to work after a week off is usually a drag. Today, however, was mitigated by good news. My wife, who is a corporate travel agent, found out she won an nationwide incentive deal that awards her two tickets anywhere Air Canada flies, domestic and international. Not bragging (well, maybe just a little). So now the negotiations begin. Right off the top, she says ISOM is out. Drat. Been there, done that, she says. My views are slightly different, though I know I ain't winning this one. So I'm suggesting southern Europe, though God knows how I'm going to pay for anything once we get there. I hear Spain is cigar-friendly (though don't tell my wife). Maybe Peru? Any suggestions out there?

I have never been to Eurpoe, but I would vote Italy for some great red wines or Ireland for some great Guieness and whiskey.

Long before the Lord of The Rings, I found this to be one of the most beautiful places on earth with the warmest people. Its not big city or metropolitan. You have to love the open countryside. Absolutely incredible.
