Which Bolivar?

About to pull the trigger on either BRCs or Coronas Extra. To be honest, I'm about addicted to the BRC. I have only smoked one CE, but remember it being an outstanding smoke and that's a size I prefer. My only issue is that the BRCs I've had all draw extremely well and I understand the CE suffers more from QC. Which would you pick?

I don't think the CE suffers from quality control issues any more than any other cigar. It also has not been my experience. That being said, others may have different information than me.

Both are very good, I happen to prefer the RC of the two you mentioned.

I agree completely with this. No cigars are "worse" than others unless you start getting into certain years or certain vitolas, etc. Even that is a crap shoot because so many of the "bad" ones have come around with age.

In my experiences, construction & appearance are not constant with almost any "normal" cigars. Sometimes they can be great, sometimes they can be crap.

Buy em both...send me one of each and I'll tell you which one is better. Better yet send me 3-4 of each so I can get a really good idea of the superior cigar. Just an idea, but I'm here to help.

I'm would pick up the CEs, although I would rather smoke a BGM over any of the other Bolivars.

I probably need to clarify a little. I have yet to have a bad draw or bad experience with a RC. I haven't had enough CEs to know if this is an issue. However, I have read where others have. I agree that CQ is probably the same for the different vitolas.

Royal Coronas here too.

I prefer the Corona Extra's to the Royal coronas. But as mentioned, I have also had some CE's with tight draws. It might be better to go with the RC's if you enjoy them and never had any QC issues.

The RCs never rocked my world. 06 & 07 BCEs are mighty tasty. I'd even take them over the Gold Medals.
