Excerpt to an interesting article: Want to know the secret to living past 100?

For WWII veteran Richard Overton, it’s whiskey and cigars.

Time reports that the 107-year-old Austin, Texas native has a tablespoon of whiskey in his coffee every day.

“It keeps your muscles tender,” he told Fox News in May.

He also smokes 12 cigars a day. He said those are his secrets to a long, healthy life; one that led him to celebrating Veterans Day with President Obama on Monday. Overton is believed to be the oldest living veteran in the country.

Unfortunately I don't think the wife is buying into the whole cigars for health thing... But she does buy into wine for health. Then again I don't think anyone has said 12 glasses of wine a day is healthy!
