The rules of genetics is very complex...but unfaithfulness is pretty simple.

Also, it's from the Sun!

Problem is, it sounds like they don't think either parent is likely to even have the necessary recessive genes in their ancestry in the first place. And they would BOTH need them.

The way dominant/recessive genes work is actually pretty simple. Genes come in pairs. You get one copy from mom, and the other from dad. How they're expressed depends on which ones you get, and whether they're dominant or recessive. Dominant traits express when only one copy is present, while a recessive trait needs to be present on both sides of the pair to be expressed.

Lets say your parents both have brown hair, with a recessive blond gene. Depending on which gametes meet up you can end up with :

Brown/Brown
Brown/Blond
Blond/Brown
Blond/Blond

Where only 1 out of the 4 possibilities (Blond/Blond) results in you being blond. If both parents don't have a copy of the blond gene in the first place, blond hair is off the table entirely. Skin color is a little more complicated, as there is more than one gene involved, but the basic idea is similar.

Even if she cheated with a blond haired white guy, the result seems *extremely* unlikely. Anyone feel like calling the hospital and fact checking The Sun? :)

DISCLAIMER: I haven't actually studied genetics beyond a high school level, so there's a very good chance I don't know what I'm talking about...

Even if she cheated with the whitest man on the face of the planet the baby would be darker. I happen to be a relative expert in this arena being mixed myself and having mixed children. It is more likely that there is a white couple missing a baby somewhere.:sarcastic

My wife is an OB. It's rare, but it's possible for two white parents to have a black baby. It's also possible for two black parents to have a white baby, but I think it's more rare--unless of course you're talking about albinism. Albinism is uncommon as well, but happens.

In Kenya I saw an albino African in Nairobi. He had the tell-take tribal features of the region (in terms of nose, brow, etc), but was white (and had blonde hair). He was essentially an outcast, kinda sad, but they're very superstitious over there, even in the big city.

But since this story is from the Sun, it's probably crap, lol.

Hey if Ang and Brad, Madonna, and Sandra can have black babies why can't a black couple have a white one?
I will quote on of my favorite homies Travie McCoy and just say
"I`d probably pull an Angelina and Brad Pitt
And adopt a bunch of babies that ain`t never had sh-t"
This being from his song "Billionare" which is great!
