This is Bella, our loveable pit. One of the sweetest dogs I've ever had. She doesn't have a mean bone in her body! She will chase cats if they run but if they don't she will give them a "tongue" bath lol. Great with kids and overall just a sweet sweet pup! Just curious if other brothers out there have wonderful pits that disprove the media bias and prove the fact that they are not a "bad" breed and just a by-product of bad owners?

Abso-freakin-loutely! We have a pit and a pit mix. Both great dogs. I work at a vet clinic we love pits there too. You know what we don't like? People who don't teach their dogs manners/socialize them. You know who are the worst offenders? Chihuahuas.

We have a two year old male named Cash. Has got to be the sweetest dog I've ever met. He will actually get down in the floor curl in a ball next to my son and take a nap with him. It's amazing he pokes Cash in nose, face, mouth all day long and all Cash does it sit there and lick his face when he moves his hands.

I had one many years ago. Sadly Where I live, they are banned (Welcome to Australia :nono:)so cannot get another. Will agree with you, it's not the dog that's the problem it's the idiot owners who get them for the wrong reason. They make great pets and had no problems with her around kids or other animals

This was our 4yr old J. We shared him with my wife's brother when he lived with us. Sadly my wife sold her brother her house and we moved and her brother kept him. He is the only thing I miss about living there. Best dog BY FAR I have ever had.

Meghan's sister owns a pit and we watch her on a regular basis. She is a BEAUTIFUL dog and an absolute gem in regards to personality.

We got ourselves a new puppy recently and elected to get something a bit smaller. Here is Archer smiling for the camera:

This is Riley, we rescued her from the pound when she was just a few months old. They said she's a lab mix but there's gotta be a little pit in her. She's a super friendly dog and has never shown aggression towards anything or anyone. ImageUploadedByTapatalk1349896939.654357.jpgImageUploadedByTapatalk1349896957.517544.jpg

We have an Amstaff, commonly called a pit and her name is Bella.

She tolerates our Rott, but owns his ass at will. We raised her around so many other dogs but once she matured she simply doesn't like other animals now. Some have it, some don't. She has killed racoons, groundhogs, rabbits, squirrels, opossum and muskrat in our back yard (and almost finished off a snapping turtle). She absolutely loves people, unless you come in un-invited then you might want to leave fairly quick. :)

She's been a great dog for us, but have to break the Rott and her up now and then when she's feeling extra bitchy and no allowing other dogs in our yard.

Bella's adorable and instantly made my heart melt when I saw her pictures. I've always wanted a pitbull as they are wonderful dogs but sadly my city decided to punish the breed and placed an all-out ban on them years ago. Ironically, their plan backfired because bad dog owners simply moved on to other breeds.

Thank you Wendy, she is the best dog I've ever had! It really sucks that breeds are punished for a few bad owners actions.
