Going out to eat at a local establishment (The Red Ox) and then probably picking up a Pumpkin Pie and gorging myself on that.

Then Smoke outside after wards if not too cold.

Small turkey (prepared with rosemary and butter 'neath the skin)
Garlic mashed potatoes
Cranberry sauce
Fried brussel sprouts with pancetta and walnuts
A honey pecan torte.

Plenty of leftovers!

I usually spend Thanksgiving with my family but the inlaws are cooking so I'm heading out there. Don't know what to expect but I'm looking forward to it. At my mom's we usually have:

At least 2 turkeys with Salvadorean spices (we make panes con pavo with the leftovers)
White wine stuffing
Mashed potatoes and gravy
Sweet potatoes
Saffron rice
Cranberry sauce
Pickled onions
and at least 3 pies (pumpkin and apple for sure and most likely strawberry/rhubarb)

Thanksgiving is my favorite holiday so I'm pretty excited for this time of the year.

Man, all those menus sound tasty...

One of my sisters and her hubby and my 9yr old nephew will be joining us...

brined and smoked bone-in turkey breast
sausage sage baked dressing
homemade egg noodles (only family tradition we have ever had)
mashed potatoes
homemade turkey gravy
corn
green bean casserole ( I know, I know)
cranberry orange fluffy salad
homemade light rolls
pumpkin cheesecake

... and I'll, personally, probably have a post-dinner Leinenkugel Fireside Nut Brown Ale!

... I think I'm missing something from the menu, but that's mostly it.
