My wife and I did this about 4 months ago and found a different site that will let you see offenders living in your area. Holy Crap! We live in an affluent area but even that doesn't mean a damn thing,,,found out there were about 3 addresses that were pulled up. Un friggin real!!!!!

I have sex offenders that live directly in the eastern bay (my new home) and Chesapeake bay (my parents home) Seems a little bogus to me cause last time i checked people don't have addresses OVER water....

I have used the Megan's Law California site before. It shows all the registered sex offenders in your area. It is run by the state and has pictures of the criminals, tattoos or other identifying marks and a list of their offenses.
