Always happens to me. For those who don't' know, my other hobby is collecting game worn jerseys, concentrating on hockey goalies. Well, of course, as fate has it, a few, no not 1 but 4 people, just in the past 2 weeks have contacted me telling me that they are looking to sell particular jerseys that I've asked about in the past. This is probably due to the big yearly event/sale put on by the retailer who has the rights to 2/3 of the teams of in the NHL having their event in 2 weeks. Guys always gear up for this event well in advance but for some reason, this year, the retailer didn't' have final plans for the show till a couple of days ago. On top of that, I've had a few people ask me if I was interested in buying some sticks which again, I've inquired about in the past(Insert LP9 pigs, Opus etc) I'm sure of because of the recent releases from the big 3 so to speak. Well, I'm running really thin due to getting ready for the Chitown herf so DAMN to all you guys that just wait till the last minute to move your stuff LOL. Just venting I guess and its only "stuff" right. G1

That's why they always send those checks out to you that give you a loan for 15-18 months w/no interest. That's how I finance my vacations and cigars. In reality cigars are supposed to be one of those things that are not in the budget...I learned along time ago that some things are necessary so you can spend some time in life and have a little slice of happiness. 2 hours with a cigar for $8 is far cheaper than being stressed out of your gourd and taking xanax to try and get your emotions in check. One hour on the couch with some shrink who puts a time clock on your is not cheap either...take your pick.

That's how it always is. We've had 5k worth of unexpected expenses thrown at us in the past month. On top of that, we had 2 weeks off in between projects so our income was drastically down. Of course, this is the time when all the LE's are being released. Oh well, back to reread the Fiscal Responsibility thread, haha

G1, this has been hitting me hard lately too. With our first kid on the way, expenses are high right now. But, it's also the time around here that it's sometimes decent to go out shooting, which is a lot more expensive than it should be. Then throw into the mix all the cigars being released right now (DE BOTL, Monsters, Viaje C4/TNT/Summerfest/Tower 45th, Boris, etc!), and there definitely isn't enough to go around. Sadly, shooting is usually the first I put off, then cigars are a close second. So, I get to sit here hoping that these LE's hang around for a little while longer. Not to mention some of the great stuff that comes up for sale from fellow BOTL's, Ugh, never enough money!
