So I am wondering how much do you actually benefit if you add a couple computer fans inside your wineador? I've always been under the impression that since most already have a fan built in that it is kinda unnecessary and you don't necessarily want a fan running all the time, but I have been thinking about adding one to mine that is wired into the overhead light so I can easily control it to be on/off or possibly have it to run every day for like an hour or so?

IMO, additional fans are overkill. I don't believe they cause harm to cigars, but in most cases I just don't think it's necessary. The wine cooler has a fan to keep air moving so that the thermostat can accurately monitor the temperature inside by preventing a stagnant environment.
Many people are tinkerers and live for projects like this. If you're one of those people, go for it.

In my Vinotemp, the fan runs even when the unit is not actively cooling.
