Had my left upper wisdom tooth removed thursday afternoon and sitting at the house alone contemplating enjoying a cigar tonight since I have the house to myself. Dentist didn't mention how long to avoid smoking because I always tell doctors I don't smoke. What do you guys think?

One wisdom tooth extracted. Felt fine the following day. Have been on pain meds since the procedure was done but decided I didnt need them today and have felt fine. Should I be ok to spark one up? Any BOTL dentists???

I got a dry socket smoking too soon and was freakin miserable and had to get it repacked every few days. Would not recommend smoking at all!!

actually, from having friends decide to put random holes in themselves, plus the last dental procedure i had: warm salt water rinse. rinse before and after. hell, if the smoke is long enough, rinse midpoint.

then again, the anticipation of waiting might make your next cigar mind blowing. your call, and good luck!

Decided to wait. Dry socket sounds like a ton of fun but think I will wait. Thanks for all the advice fellas!

Like they said don't rush it. It will be so much worse when it gets infected or doesn't heal right. Plus that first cigar will be that much better!
Wisdom teeth suck, feel better bro.
